Book Character Pumpkin Contest

My book-obsessed young friend’s entry into her classroom’s “book character pumpkin contest.” On the one hand, I’m so proud of her and her passion for reading. On the other hand: Seriously? Could she NOT make a pumpkin bulldozer or pumpkin excavator — or a car-obsessed pumpkin squirrel?! 🤷🏻‍♀️
